Waterloo have asked property surveyors Savills to carry out a survey to check the condition of a sample of our homes.
We use the findings of this yearly ‘stock condition’ survey to help us prepare and budget for repair and maintenance improvements we plan to make to Waterloo properties.
The surveys commenced in January 2019 and are due to be complete by the end of May 2019.
If a surveyor calls at your property we ask for your help by giving the surveyor access to carry out the short inspection survey, which usually takes around 20-30 minutes to complete. The visit involves the surveyor inspecting all parts of the property, including the garden and loft spaces. They will make notes and take photographs of features such as the heating system, electrics, elevations, kitchen and bathroom.
The survey does not involve the resident answering any questions. The surveyor is visiting to gather information and so is unable to give any results of the survey or take any repair requests. Any repairs should be reported in the usual way by getting in touch with our Contact Centre.
All the surveyors wear a Savills identification badge and will show visited residents a letter giving them authority from Waterloo to carry out the survey.
Residents should not wait in for the surveyor to call or take time off work. If no-one is in when the surveyor calls, they will simply go on to the next property to complete the survey there.
We would like to thank you in advance for your help and assistance
