Following the merger between Waterloo Housing and Fortis Living to create the Platform Housing Group, our repairs and maintenance service arm, Property Care, are starting to deliver on ambitious growth plans across the whole of the Group, starting in Lincolnshire and the Midlands.
Malcolm Kaszics, who is based in Louth, has been appointed Assistant Director of Property Care for the Central and East Region and reports that the expansion of the Property Care’s in-house maintenance teams sees two new posts being based at our Lincolnshire hub. These are the first new posts to be created in this area in the last 2 and a half years and is only the start. Void works and responsive repairs, which were previously outsourced, will be bought back in-house with opportunities for any affected individuals to become part of our Property Care business through TUPE arrangements.

We are currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager and a Plumber but there will be more vacancies being advertised over the next few months, including apprentice opportunities and work experience placements in conjunction with local schools, all of which will be advertised on our website www.platformhg.com and through our social media channels:
Dennis Evans, Group Property Care Director, said “Our vision is to have a highly skilled workforce delivering local, customer centred services that enhance the customer experience, but also delivers value for money and wider social value in terms of local employment opportunities, apprenticeships and work experience placements for local people. This is a very exciting time for Property Care.”
