A Hotpoint branded Fridge Freezer, manufactured between March 2006 and July 2009, model numbers FF175BP (white) and FF175BG (graphite grey) has been identified as causing the initial fire at Grenfell Tower.
At the moment there is no need to unplug your fridge freezer but owners are being asked to contact Hotpoint to register their details in case the product needs to be recalled.
To confirm if your appliance is affected, please check your model and serial number, usually located on a sticker behind the salad container, or look for the model data label below on your appliance.

Customers can expect further updates from the manufacturer about the action it will take in relation to this product and are advised to follow standard safety advice, not overload plugs, ensure sockets are not damaged and check cables and leads are in good condition.
