Community events at No 60 - The Hub, Saxon Fields, Skegness for Waterloo tenants between 22nd-30th November

Waterloo are hosting two community events for residents in the area of No 60 - The Hub, Saxon Fields, off The Meadows, Skegness, PE25 2JA

Come and join in with "a HANDMADE CHRISTMAS"  at No 60 The Hub. These sessions will run weekly for four weeks, starting on Wednesday 22nd November and ending Wednesday 13th December, between 12 and 3pm. All Waterloo residents in the area are invited to come along and enjoy this series of craft and art workshops which will focus on creating handmade Christmas cards, gifts, decorations, wreaths, advent calendars, and table centres. Attendees will be using a variety of art and craft styles including water colour, sewing, baking and decoupage.

We're also hosting three "fitness, food, friendsevents with Magna Vitae around the theme of healthy eating and cooking for over-50's. These interactive sessions will all be held at No 60 - The Hub between Thursday 23rd November and Thursday 30th November. They are open to any over-50 Waterloo residents in the area. Again, spaces are on a first-come first-served basis. 

The first event - "Health Eating and Mental Health" will be held between 10:30am and 12:30pm on Thursday 23rd November 2017 and will look at the area of mental health and how food choices can help support this. The next event - "Health Eating and Heart Health" will be held between 1pm and 3pm on Monday 27th November 2017 and will look at heart health and cardiovascular disease, and how food choices can help with this. The final event - "Health Eating and Diabetes" will be held between 10:30am and 12:30pm on Thursday 30th November 2017 and will look at the area of diabetes and how food choices can help prevent and manage this condition.
