Barratt Court residents celebrate Queen's Birthday in style

11 May 2016

Residents of Barratt Court in Skegness hosted an afternoon of music and entertainment on 12th April to promote the services available on site, including the 'Young at Heart Day Centre' and the new 'Central Cafe', and celebrate the Queen's birthday.

The Mayor of Skegness, Carl Macey, proposed the toast and residents all raised a glass in celebration.

Everyone enjoyed the music and performances by the Earthbound Misfits, a juggling combo who took the opportunity to incorporate a couple of unsuspecting members of Waterloo staff in their routine!

The County Linx Radio bus came along too, offering residents a chance to check out the fantastic inner workings of a mobile radio studio.

Barratt Court is one of our extra-care sheltered schemes, more information can be found about this and other sheltered accommodation on our website
