Station Approach, Leamington Spa

Station Approach is a development of 212 homes: 85  for affordable rent, 75 for shared ownership and 52 developed for outright sale. Please refer to the site plans below for full details including property sizes

AC Lloyd have been appointed as our main contractor for the development, producing the 160 affordable rent and shared ownership properties for Waterloo Housing Group and Waterloo Homes 

AC Lloyd began construction work on 3rd October 2016 and the scheme is being constructed in phases, with an aim to complete final handover of all properties by the end of 2020 / start of 2021. 

Station Approach is being built in partnership with Warwick District Council, and will include a new council owned 100 space car park and an improved cycle-path to the station via the underpass off Avenue Road

This is a large development, and inevitably there will necessarily be a certain level of impact on existing residents of the area and users of the current car park. We will post regular updates and news items on this page in order to keep you informed

Temporary Closure of Station Approach to vehicular traffic

Warwickshire County Council has made a temporary traffic order closing Station Approach to vehicular traffic. This will commence on Monday 16th October 2017 and is expected to be completed on 1st December 2019.

Closure of Station Passageway - from 3rd October 2016

This is an update for all residents of Station Approach, or those who may use the area as part of their commute or other travel.

Warwickshire County Council has made a Temporary Traffic Order closing the Public Footpath from Station Approach leading to the Railway Station Main Entrance (known locally as Station Passageway), to all traffic. 

This closure is required for the safety of the public whilst development works are in progress.

The Order will commence on 3 October 2016 and will last for a period of 12 months, unless the Secretary of State directs that the Order be extended.

An alternative route will be signed and available via. Avenue Road, Lower Avenue, Old Warwick Road (and visa versa), this will add approximately 5 minutes to your journey.
