  The demolition of the Brandwood End estates' defective properties will make way for a new housing development, with design characteristics inspired by the Bournville area of Birmingham. The houses' architecture will be complimented by high quality landscaping including streets lined with trees and hedges and fruit trees in rear gardens. Residents have a key role in shaping the future of their homes and neighbourhood. The Bournville theme for example, was chosen by local residents after looking at a range of different styles and housing types.
