In Brandwood End in south Birmingham a major regeneration initiative is underway. It will see £17 million pumped into new housing over five years to replace structurally defective properties and transform the area.

But it's not just about building bricks and mortar. It's about helping an energetic community build its own future.

The main partners involved in building the estate's bright future are residents through the Development Group, Waterloo Housing Association and Birmingham City Council.
