RENT SETTING & REVIEW POLICY FOR ASSURED TENANTS

How Rent Levels Are Set

Photo shows a calculatorEach year, our Board of Management reviews the rents we charge, and decides on any increase.

The Board takes into account the current inflation rate, and any changes in the costs of managing our properties. We aim to keep our rents affordable for those in low paid employment.

The rent you will pay is reviewed on 1st January each year, and you will receive one month's written notice of any increase.

How You Can Pay

  • At a post office - The Association will provide a payment card.
  • By post - By Cheque or Postal Order
  • By Standing Order - forms are available from Head Office
  • At one of our offices - By cash, cheque, or postal order during normal office hours.
We are sorry, but our Parkfields Office cannot accept rent payments.
  • You may also be eligible for Housing Benefit, and this may be paid direct to Waterloo on your behalf. This depends on your personal circumstances. You should speak to your council about claiming Housing Benefit.
