Most of our staff are based at Waterloo’s
head office in Sutton Coldfield. We also have area offices in Kidderminster
and Atherstone, and an estate office at Parkfields in Castle Bromwich.
At our various housing schemes we employ staff to provide day-to-day
support services to residents.
Working for Waterloo offers many benefits.
We pay competitive rates and offer a generous holiday entitlement. There
is also non-contributory permanent health insurance and one the best
contributory pension schemes available.
Waterloo is committed to equal opportunities.
We welcome applications from all sections of the community.
Highly rated
Waterloo Housing Association is a not
for profit organisation which was set up in 1971 to provide affordable
homes. We have grown steadily and now operate in more than 15 local
authority areas in the Midlands. We are regulated and part funded by
the government agency, the Housing Corporation.
The Housing Corporation’s inspection
report in 2002 praised us for the quality of our service. Our overall
rating was 'good' – which is the highest rating that they can
give. The inspectors praised our staff, saying they “demonstrated
a commitment to providing a quality service, and receive good training
and support.” They also said that we are ‘”clearly
committed to maintaining and improving what is already a good service”
and that our services offer ‘”good value for money”.
